Job Summary:
The Inbound Logistics Analyst's role will play a leading role in the activities associated with the daily movement of finished goods shipments from plants to DCs(Distribution Centers) and DC to DC; create and publish a monthly Inbound KPI scorecard and provide extensive analytical and presentation support through MS Excel and PowerPoint tools. This role will also own all aspects, both inventory and transportation associated with our Canada business.
Job Responsibilities & Tasks:
- Lead coordination of inbound Finished Goods shipments from Plants to DC as well as between DCs
- Monitor all scheduling activities and provide direction when needed
- Assign loads to carriers approved and set up by Transportation Manager
- Work with related parties to balance flow volumes as needed
- Work with related parties to develop short and long term inbound forecasts
- Use all associated data to calculate/monitor DC storage capacity
- Coordinate priority item shipments and related scheduling
- Monitor average load weights; work with plants as needed to achieve load optimization
- Maintain accurate ETA info on all inbound shipments in ERP system
- Build and optimize loads in external load optimization program
- Use all associated data to calculate/monitor DC storage capacity
- Prepare monthly Inbound KPI scorecards
- Prepare and review various internal/external reports to calculate scorecard data
- Provide MS Excel and PowerPoint support for Logistics Team as needed
- Lead all MCA (Materne Canada) activities
- Weekly and monthly inventory reconciliation
- Manage all capacity and transportation needs between MNA (Materne North America) factories and Canadian distributor

- Truckload utilization partnership with MNA plants

Position Requirements:
EDUCATION
- Associates Degree preferred but not required
EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 3 years professional work experience. Prior experience in CPG industry is preferred but not required.
SKILLS
- Problem solving skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong MS Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Prior experience working with a Transportation Management system
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to work in normal office conditions
TOTAL REWARDS
- $30-$36/hourly
- 10% bonus potential
