Quality assurance specialist
Responsibilities
- Train & Empower: Develop and deliver agency-wide staff training that meets OPWDD, state, and federal requirements
- Audit & Improve: Conduct internal audits and follow up with corrective action planning. Offer technical support post-audit or after investigations
- Investigate: Perform investigations as per OPWDD regulations and help drive improvement based on findings
- Support Compliance: Collaborate with program leadership to strengthen best practices, provide technical guidance, and promote a culture of learning
- Liaise and Represent; attend external meetings, trainings, and forums with governing agencies.
- BA/BS Degree preferred. Minimum one year of experience working in OPWDD programs required. Successful candidates should have good writing, communication and interpersonal skills. Must have training experience and knowledge of OPWDD rules and regulations.
