Schedule: Day Shift – 5x8s (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)

Duration: 18-Week Contract

Pay Rate: Up to $23 per hour

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This role requires a professional who can effectively provide both clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient patient flow and high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures

• Obtain and accurately document vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, pulse, etc.)

• Assist physicians and healthcare providers during examinations and treatments

• Administer injections and medications as directed by the provider

• Perform basic laboratory procedures and specimen collection

• Maintain, clean, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment

• Ensure exam rooms are properly stocked and prepared for patient visits

Administrative Responsibilities:

• Schedule patient appointments and coordinate patient flow

• Update and maintain electronic medical records (EMR)

• Verify patient demographics and insurance information

• Manage inbound phone calls and patient inquiries professionally

• Maintain strict confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

• BLS Certification (Required)

• Medical Assistant Certification (Preferred)

• Minimum one (1) year of Medical Assistant experience (Preferred)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multitask in a clinical setting

• Proficiency with electronic medical records systems
