Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced RN with a specialty in Med Surg to work in a stroke stepdown unit in Utica, New York. This is a travel assignment where you will be working in an engaging and supportive environment, dealing with a variety of patient needs.

Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Provide care to stroke stepdown patients and those with altered mental status, renal, and pulmonary issues
• Administer medications and treatments using specialty equipment such as IV pumps and N/G tubes
• Monitor patient progress and response to treatments
• Float to various units as required

Requirements of the RN - Med Surg - Travel

• Active NY RN License and all active RN Licenses verified via NURSYS
• Current AHA BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of Med Surg experience, including travel and stroke stepdown experience
• Experience with EPIC EMR system
• Skills checklist matching specialty
• Driver's license with address matching demographics
