Vice Presidents Investment Banking
Stephens Inc seeks multiple Vice Presidents Investment Banking to work in the New York City metropolitan area with worksite at: 660 Fifth Ave, Floor 26, New York, NY 10103. TRAVEL: Domestic travel within the United States with occasional international travel, 1 to 3 times a month for 2-3 days at a time. DUTIES: Significant responsibility in supporting senior bankers with business development, relationship maintenance and transaction oversight and execution, within the Consumer industry. Key tasks include: Oversee and lead the transaction execution process; Assign tasks to Associates & Analysts; Develop and oversee the development of detailed financial analyses and prepare and/or review models for a variety of transaction types; Leverage deep expertise of the Consumer industry in the origination and execution of transactions; Creation and execution of business development and marketing plans in coordination with Senior Bankers; Lead client calls and meetings with and without direct oversight from a Sr. Banker; Plan and oversee the execution of live engagements, from the initial preparation phase through the closing of transactions; Ensure accuracy and timeliness of work for Associates and Analysts; Recruit, educate, and train Investment Banking Associates and Analysts; Build and manage relationships with current and prospective clients; Perform other tasks as assigned by management. REQUIRES: Must have a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Management with a Concentration in Accounting, Finance, or Economics, or closely related field. Must have at least five years (60 months) of experience in a Staff Accountant, Investment Banking Analyst, Financial Analyst, or closely related position.
