GD Resources is seeking an Expert Software Developer to support a high-impact public health initiative. The position will contribute to the development and maintenance of a critical disease surveillance system that supports the monitoring of communicable diseases and public health emergencies. The successful candidate will work within a collaborative team environment, driving innovation and ensuring system excellence.

• Design and develop robust web applications using Java EE technologies.

• Participate in requirements analysis, system design meetings, and produce specification documentation.

• Implement business logic and user interfaces aligned with project goals.

• Conduct unit and regression testing, ensuring application reliability and performance.

• Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.

• Design and develop database models and manage data migrations.

• Oversee and assign tasks to junior development team members.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to enhance modules related to Hepatitis and STD reporting.

• Minimum of 84 months of experience with WebLogic application servers.

• At least 84 months of experience using frameworks such as Spring and/or MyBatis.

• 84 months of experience in Java SE, JDBC, Java Servlets, and JavaScript development with relational databases.

• 84 months of SQL experience and relational database design.

• Demonstrated experience in creating system design and specification documentation (84 months).

• 84 months of experience in developing and consuming web services.

• Experience with service-oriented architecture in Java environments (84 months).

• Strong proficiency in version control tools like GIT and/or CVS, along with unit testing frameworks (84 months).

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
