Your Role as a Senior Tax Accountant:

As a Senior Tax Accountant , you will serve as a trusted advisor to clients while playing a key role in tax preparation, review, planning, and team mentorship. This position requires advanced tax knowledge, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage complex engagements while maintaining accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Tax Preparation, Review & Planning

• Prepare and review corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns with a high degree of accuracy

• Conduct tax research and planning to identify tax-saving opportunities and minimize client liabilities

• Stay current on tax law and regulatory changes and incorporate updates into tax strategies

🔹 Client & Team Collaboration

• Serve as a primary client contact, gathering tax information, addressing inquiries, and delivering exceptional service

• Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships as a trusted tax advisor

• Provide guidance, review work, and deliver constructive feedback to junior team members

🔹 Compliance & Process Improvement

• Assist in resolving tax notices and inquiries from tax authorities

• Contribute to the development and improvement of internal tax processes and procedures

• Participate in recruiting efforts, team-building initiatives, and firm-sponsored events

What You Need to Succeed:

✔ Required Qualifications & Experience (No Exceptions):

• Minimum 4 years of experience in tax preparation and tax planning, preferably within a public accounting firm

• In-depth knowledge of tax rules and regulations

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• CPA license preferred

• Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems , with strong technology skills
