Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – Med/Surg ICU

Location: Bronx, NY

Duration: 14 Weeks

Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Compensation: $2,208 per week (Local Rate)

Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week Med/Surg ICU assignment at a reputable acute care hospital in the Bronx, NY. This role involves caring for high-acuity medical and postoperative patients in a fast-paced critical care environment.

Candidates with prior experience in PCU/Step-Down, MICU, or CCU settings are strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to complex medical-surgical ICU patients

• Perform IV insertions, phlebotomy, and assist with conscious sedation procedures

• Monitor telemetry and manage vasoactive drips and critical infusions

• Recognize and respond to hemodynamic instability and emergent situations

• Collaborate with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on ventilator management and weaning protocols

• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with hospital standards

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of Medical/Surgical nursing experience

• Minimum 2+ years of IV insertion and phlebotomy experience

• Minimum 2+ years of conscious sedation experience

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program

• Active New York RN License (Primary Source Verification required)

• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
