- Sustain and deepen engagement with ingredients suppliers on responsible sourcing practices and systematic sharing of ingredient sourcing information; progress the use of certified ingredients where applicable.
- Assess and advise on sustainability and human rights risks in priority supply chains; evaluate supplier sourcing practices and support verification approaches (e.g., certifications, third-party assessments) aligned to program ambition.
- Develop leadership-ready updates (e.g., SSC SteerCo pre-reads) that synthesize progress, risks, and decisions needed; manage project plans, milestones, and stakeholder inputs.
- Represent ELC in external coalitions and working groups (e.g., ASD) to identify best practices, advance collaborative solutions, and help remediate human rights and environmental issues in key supply chains.
- Coordinate with ELC's Charitable Foundation and partners to monitor implementation of impact projects in sourcing communities; evaluate progress, steer improvements, and support internal alignment and resource mobilization.
- Evaluate brand marketing claim requests related to raw material sourcing practices in partnership with brands, Legal, and R&D; support public reporting and disclosures as an SSC subject-matter expert.
- Monitor, analyze, and improve SSC data using internal systems and external platforms/sources; track KPIs (e.g., transparency, traceability depth, data quality) and identify opportunities to strengthen program effectiveness.
- Stay current on evolving regulations and protocols relevant to upstream supply chains (e.g., EUDR) and translate implications into practical requirements for suppliers and internal stakeholders.
