The Role at a Glance

• Role: Manufacturing Technician
• Location: PoughKeepsie, NY - SSI Aeration (4 Tucker Dr Poughkeepsie, NY 12603)
• Hours: 1st Shift, Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
• Compensation: $19 - $22 per hour Based on Experience

What You’ll Tackle

• Run saws, drills, routers, and other fabrication tools to cut, drill, and assemble PVC materials.
• Assemble components both manually and using semi-automatic/automatic equipment (including CNC and plastic injection molding machines).
• Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and work orders to execute builds.
• Measure, cut, fit, and assemble PVC & CPVC components to exact specs.
• Load and unload incoming/outgoing shipments for production.
• Perform machine setups and routine maintenance on fabrication equipment.
• Inspect output to verify quality standards are met.
• Record production data and communicate material usage or issues to supervisors.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and organization of the work area.
• Work cross-functionally to hit production schedules and deadlines.
• Assist with inventory control and purchasing tasks.
• Pick and pack parts orders when needed.

Must-Haves

• High School Diploma or GED
• At least 1 year in a manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly setting

Worksite

This position will be based at our site in Poughkeepsie, NY no travel.

Pay & Employment Details

Starting Pay will range between $19.00 - $22.00 per hour depending on qualifications and experience. This is a full-time, hourly position.

The pay range takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Ingersoll Rand, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.
