Youth coach
About Us
The Buffalo Titans are a competitive youth basketball organization focused on player development, teamwork, and character. We are seeking dedicated and positive coaches to join our staff for the upcoming spring/summer AAU season.
Position Overview
We are looking for motivated Youth Basketball Coaches to lead teams during the 2026 season. The ideal candidate has a passion for teaching the game, mentoring young athletes, and representing the values of our program on and off the court.
Season Details
- Season Length: March - mid-June
- Practices: 2 practices per week
- Tournaments: 5-6 weekend tournaments throughout the season
- Compensation: Stipend provided
- Additional Benefits: Access to coaching development resources and ongoing support from program leadership
Preferred Qualifications
- College basketball playing or coaching experience, or high school coaching experience
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Commitment to being a positive role model and mentor for youth athletes
- Reliable and team-oriented attitude
Responsibilities
- Plan and conduct two team practices per week focused on skill development and team concepts
- Coach at all scheduled tournaments
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and program directors
- Foster a positive and disciplined team environment
