Job DescriptionNBC Universal’s Quality & Project Management (QPM) team provides PMO services across large initiatives within Technical Operations and Enterprise Engineering. The team is seeking a Program Manager that will be instrumental in managing key relationships while overseeing large-scale technology programs for the Corporate Core and Engineering portfolio. This person will be instrumental in developing processes for a critical sub-portfolio while also managing a high-profile program. The programs in this area are core to delivering key projects and initiatives to enable NBCU's business evolution in a fast-changing Media and Entertainment market.
Responsibilities:
- Create and manage program charters, schedules, resource plans, program budgets, and financial cost/benefit models
- Continually collaborate with executives and stakeholders, document requirements/scope and dependencies, and host program kick-offs
- Execute multiple programs across the Corporate Business Solutions team and ensure objectives + deliverables are accomplished according to plan
- Manage cross-functional dependencies, risks, and changes effectively by optimizing scope, schedule, and resources accordingly
- Provide program-level status updates and reporting to sponsor and stakeholders, and facilitate regular program status meetings (including agendas, presentations, minutes, action items and follow-up)
- Build strong partnerships to mobilize program/project team members and influence across a range of leaders, internal teams, and external suppliers
- Participate in program intake, facilitate program prioritization discussions, and collect high-level requirements
- Follow and contribute to standards, best practices, processes, and documentation for the Program Management team
Requirements:
- Minimum 4 years of ERP/SAP end-to-end system implementation Program / Project Management experience through design, development, testing, launch, and post-launch support with functional knowledge of any core modules
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Product Management, Business Administration, Project/Program Management or a related field

- The candidate must live within a commutable distance from the following designated NBCUniversal office – New York, NY
- Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience managing HR projects / programs
- Knowledge of Talent Acquisition, Talent Management and Core HR
- Experience managing global projects teams with competing priorities, diverse business objectives, and time zones constraints
- Ability to collect information from multiple sources, document concepts using data + visualizations, and present complex topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience within media and entertainment industry
- Experience with Microsoft 365
- Experience in IT, Agile Product & App Development environment highly preferred
- Experience with JIRA, Lucidchart, Smartsheet, Tableau or PowerBI
- Program Management Professional (PgMP), Project Management Professional (PMP), and/or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certifications a plus
Additional Requirements:
- Hybrid : This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
