Position: Registered Dietitian
Location: 234 E 149th Street, Bronx, NY 10451
Shift: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
Compensation:
- Travel Pay: $2,500 weekly gross ($20/hr on W2 + $1,700 weekly per diem)
- Local Pay: $2,240 weekly gross ($56/hr on W2)
Job Summary:
Responsible for monitoring food and drug interactions, providing nutrition education, and collaborating with physicians on diet modifications while ensuring accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess patients’ nutritional needs and provide follow-up care
- Conduct dietary interviews and evaluate food habits
- Interpret lab and clinical data related to nutrition
- Provide patient education and document diet plans
- Monitor food/drug interactions
- Modify patient menus and coordinate with care teams
Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of experience (2+ years preferred)
- Outpatient experience required
- Dialysis patient experience required
- Degree in Dietetics or Foods & Nutrition
Certifications & Licensure:
- Registered Dietitian (CDR) required or NYSED Dietitian-Nutritionist certification
- BLS preferred
