Head Teacher
Welcome to TLC Day Care, where an exciting opportunity awaits you! We are looking for dedicated individuals to join our team as Head Teachers. As a Head Teacher at TLC, your role is to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for one of our classes ranging from 6 weeks to 5 years old. You will play the crucial role of designing your classroom, implementing engaging activities, and fostering the social, emotional, and cognitive development of our young learners. If you're passionate about early childhood education and making a positive impact on young lives, this is the perfect job for you. Join us in providing tender loving care and facilitating the growth and development of our amazing group of children.
Responsibilities:
Create a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children, including providing emotional and physical support
Plan and implement age-appropriate activities to promote the physical, cognitive, social, and emotional development of the classroom you are teaching
Communicate with parents about their child's development and progress, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns or questions
Follow all policies and procedures related to the care and education of our children
Collaborate with other teachers and staff to ensure continuity of care and education
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Ability to multitask and handle a high-volume workload
Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and staff
Knowledge of child development and age-appropriate activities
