Assistant Farm Manager position available on a 1,500 cow modern dairy farm in Central New York State. Will be required to help lead teams of workers engaged in a variety of crop and maintenance projects that include but not limited to the operation of large farm equipment and trucks, the planting and harvesting of crops, the operation of a drag hose manure application system. Must have experience repairing and maintaining equipment and facilities. Must also have a positive attitude, be self-motivated, well organized and detail oriented. Candidate must have a current driver's license and the ability to obtain a CDL and a pesticide applicator's license. Excellent salary and benefits including housing, utilities, health insurance and retirement.
