Big Spaceship is a full-service creative shop built for brands that want to break new ground. Our diverse team of entrepreneurial spirits, creative minds, and makers brings bold ideas to life for some of the world's most innovative and culturally connected brands. Our work spans some of the world’s most influential brands, including Chase, Paze, Botox, Dropbox, and the US Open. - WHO: Our Internship program is open to recent graduates, rising seniors, career-changers, those who have taken time off of work or school, and anyone with a passion for creativity and collaboration!
- WHAT: We’re hoping to have 4 interns join the team this summer, with Internship opportunities available in the following disciplines: Creative (Art Direction or Copywriting), Design, Social Strategy & Account Management
- WHERE: The 2026 Summer Internship will be hybrid in NYC, working from home on Mondays and Fridays, and in our Flatiron office collaborating IRL Tuesday - Thursday.
- WHEN: Big Spaceship’s 10-week internship program will run from Tuesday, June 2 - Thursday, August 6, 2026. Candidates must be able to commit to the full 10-week program, 30 hours per week.
Disciplines:
- Account: Account management sits at the heart of what we do. We really like to understand what is at the core of a client's business, and help bring that through to every stage of our work process. At Big Spaceship, the account team ensures clients feel we are an extension of their team, problem-solving through the challenges, and celebrating successes alongside them. We are inherently caretakers of each other, and believe that leads to creating amazing work.
- Creative: We are creators. A discipline driven by an insatiable curiosity and desire to make stuff. Big stuff. Fun stuff. Serious stuff. Seriously effective stuff. You get the idea, we don’t make one thing here. We approach each brief with the clients’ goals and the consumers’ needs top of mind. Pulling from our collective passion and experience to combine film, social, outdoor, digital, analogue, or experiential into the perfect solution for the task at hand.
- Design: We're more than designers, we're storytellers. Through close collaboration, we bring campaigns to life and ensure a cohesive and beautiful look and feel throughout. We obsess over the details others overlook — the typography that sets the tone, the color that sparks emotion, the layout that guides the eye exactly where it needs to go. At Big Spaceship, design isn't decoration, it's the language we use to connect brands with people. From concept to execution, across every screen, surface, and format, we make sure the work doesn't just look good — it feels right.
Social Strategy: The strat team is deeply entrenched in the culture and communities that surround our brands. This focus on understanding people and behavior informs our approach to content creation, community management, and social-first experiences. This culture-powered approach uncovers fresh ways for brands to come to life on social and resonate with their audiences. Our team measures success by the strength of our stunning platform-native content, conversions of followers to advocates, and the agility that equips our brands to move at the speed of social.

Benefits
This is a paid internship at $20/hour , for 30 hours per week over the 10-week program.
