We are seeking a skilled Senior Forklift Operator (Sit Down or Stand Up) to ensure the safe and efficient movement of materials within our facility. Key Responsibilities :

• Operate sit-down or stand up forklifts to move, stack, and load sheet metal products and materials within the warehouse.
• Perform routine inspections of forklifts and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in inventory management by accurately tracking and recording the movement of goods.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to fulfill orders and maintain optimal workflow.
• Follow safety protocols and company policies to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with cycle counting as needed.
• Train and mentor junior forklift operators, promoting best practices in forklift operation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating sit-down forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Wide load experience preferred.
• Valid forklift operator certification (must be current and valid).
• Strong understanding of warehouse safety practices and procedures.
• Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
