What you will do as a Commercial Roofer:

• Construct & restore roofing systems using materials such as shingles, slate, tile, metal, gravel, asphalt, EPDM, TPO, and PVC
• Set up scaffolding, ladders, and roof hoist equipment to ensure safe and efficient roof access
• Apply waterproof coatings, vapor barriers, insulation, vents, and solar energy panels to protect and enhance roofing systems
• Transport & organize equipment and materials to and from job sites.
• Remove & replace broken or damaged materials, ensuring a clean and safe work environment
• Work a consistent full-time schedule with available overtime

Our Ideal Commercial Roofer:

• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a roofing or a skilled trade is preferred, but we are willing to provide on-the-job training for a motivated candidate.
• Problem-solver: Skilled at inspecting and identifying issues, analyzing root causes, and recommending practical solutions.
• Strong Communicator: Effectively communicates with supervisors, peers, and team members. Actively listens to ensure understanding and collaboration.
• Positive & Self-Motivated: Maintains a strong work ethic and positive attitude while staying eager to learn and improve.
• Team-Oriented & Independent: Thrives in a team environment but can also work efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Organized: Manages time effectively to meet deadlines and maintain productivity.
• Social Smarts: Aware of team dynamics and customer needs, fostering a respectful and understanding workplace environment.
• Active: Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions, exposed to contaminants, and at multi-story heights. Able to lift up to 100 lbs. occasionally and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, climbing ladders, and standing for extended periods.
