Bookkeeper
BOOKKEEPER
Location: Croton-on-Hudson, NY
Compensation: $90,000+ (depending on experience)
This role is ideal for candidates who are fully confident in advanced Excel functions and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications:
- 5+ years Full-Charge Bookkeeper or full-cycle accounting experience
- Hands-on ADP payroll experience
- ERP experience required (Epicor preferred; comparable systems accepted)
- Strong GAAP knowledge with independent month-end/year-end close experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel required (tested during interview):
- Pivot Tables
- VLOOKUP and similar lookup functions
- Advanced formulas and large data sets
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage deadlines independently
- Handle full-cycle accounting, including AP/AR, GL, payroll (ADP), and cash flow
- Prepare financial statements and support the month-end/year-end close
- Perform bank/vendor reconciliations, journal entries, and fixed asset tracking
- File sales tax and support audits
- Provide reporting and operational support to the Controller
