TravelNurseSource is working with GSK SOLUTIONS INC to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Rome, New York, 13440!
The Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in an acute care setting. The RN is responsible for assessment, monitoring, treatment, and coordination of care for patients with a variety of medical conditions, including those requiring telemetry or step-down level observation.

Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- 1–2 years of Step-down or Telemetry experience (required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) – required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) – required
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) – required
- Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced acute care setting
Preferred:
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Experience with cardiac monitoring/telemetry interpretation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
