Line Cook

We're Hiring: Line / Prep Cook (Back of House)

Sen Saigon – Vegan Vietnamese Kitchen
Location: Lower East Side, Manhattan
Schedule: 4:00 PM – 10:30 PM (Evenings)

We're looking for someone who enjoys working in a clean, organized kitchen and takes pride in preparing quality food. Experience is helpful, but attitude, reliability, and willingness to learn matter even more.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients according to recipes and prep lists

• Cook and plate menu items during dinner service

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment throughout the shift

• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation

• Restock ingredients and supplies as needed

• Label, date, and properly store food

• Follow food safety and sanitation standards

• Work as a team to keep the kitchen running smoothly

• Assist with closing duties at the end of each shift

We're Looking For Someone Who Is:

• Reliable and consistently on time

• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen

• Detail-oriented and follows recipes accurately

• Comfortable doing dishes as part of the daily workflow

• Positive, respectful, and a team player

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods

Experience

• Kitchen or restaurant experience preferred

• Food Handler Certificate is a plus (or willing to obtain one)
