Responsibilities
- Provide medical nutrition therapy for inpatient populations as part of the acute care or related setting
- Conduct nutrition assessments, develop individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team; participate in rounds
- Document assessments, plans, and progress in the electronic health record (Point Click Care and Meditech)
- Educate patients and families on nutrition therapy, discharge planning, and follow-up needs
- Ensure care plans comply with nutrition guidelines and NYS regulatory requirements

Requirements
- Active Registered Dietitian credentialed with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
- Certified Dietitian/Nutritionist (CDN) in New York State
- Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics
- One year acute care or long-term care experience preferred
- Proficiency with Point Click Care, Meditech, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook
- Ability to work in an inpatient clinical setting
