Fleet Mechanic

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain all types of landscaping equipment, including mowers, leaf blowers, weed whackers, and snow equipment.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair vehicles, gasoline and diesel engines, and heavy machinery, including skid steers, excavators, and trailers.
- Operate power tools and utilize a wide variety of maintenance hand tools.
- Travel to various worksites throughout Westchester, NJ, and Dutchess County.
- Work in various weather conditions, including snow, rain, heat, and cold.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with training and onboarding new shop employees.
- Follow all shop protocols and maintenance schedules.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing landscaping equipment and vehicles.
- Proficiency in using power tools and maintenance hand tools.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong adherence to safety protocols.
- Excellent communication skills for training and onboarding new employees.
