Okonomi is a small 12-seat neighborhood kitchen in Williamsburg, Brooklyn that practices Japanese mottainai cuisine. By day, Okonomi serves traditional Japanese ichiju-sansai set meals for all-day.
JOB DESCRIPTIONWe would like to hear from individuals who are not only interested in our food but also recognize that the customer experience is much more than just the plate.
We are a small restaurant group that offers a lot of room for internal growth. Looking for server/cook candidates who are a good fit and interested in working for at least a year if not longer.
Responsibilities
- Warmly greeting and thanking customers
- Presenting and explaining food
- Dishwashing
- Cleaning
- Cutting vegetables
- Fabricating fish and seafood
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge and/or interest of Japanese cuisine / language
