Receptionist and Client Service Representative

We are seeking a Customer Service Representative/Receptionist for our high volume resort.
This is not a strictly desk or sitting position, the position requires frequent walking and moving throughout the building. If you enjoy working with people, have the love and the passion for working with dogs, and a little drool and some doggy hair doesn't faze you in the least- this could be the job for you!
Both Full and Part time positions available.
Specific Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Greet clients and their pets
- Answer Telephone with in 3 rings
- Reply to client Email or Texts same day
- Organize/maintain desk flow
- Maintaining records both Client and Pet (ensure all vaccines and client info is up to date
- Organizing and Filing (some bending and reaching required)
- Booking Boarding Reservations for upcoming stays
- Checking in and Cashing out Clients; including balancing the drawer/maintain change
- Cleaning/Maintaining a welcoming area in our Lobbies for clients
- And of course the occasional Scooping of Poop
- Must be willing to help and be able to clean up after pets as needed
Specific Requirements:
- Basic computer and phone skills
- Great attention to detail
- Great customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Ability to multitask and operate in a fast paced environment
- Can work without your cellphone
- Ability to walk two dogs at the same time
- Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
- (Able to be physically active from beginning to end of shift)
- Lifting is required (50+lbs)
- Work with small and large dogs various breeds, sizes and activity levels
- Have a confident and patient demeanor
- Of course you MUST love animals!
Experience is Required:
Successful candidate should have the following (minimum) qualification:
Education: Min of 2 year degree in Business /Accounting or Zoological/Animal Science
Experience: Min 1 year in a receptionist position (Dr Office, Vet Office, or other similar positions) or in a customer service related setting.
Pet care facility experience is highly preferred, but not required.
Professional references may be requested.
Average pay is based on experience and ranges between $15.00- $18.00 per/hr.
Job Types: Full-time or Part-time
Must be Available to work Weekends and Holidays
Must have open availability morning, afternoon and evenings
