Flight Attendant and Culinary Assistant for a Private Family Based in Westchester County, NY Travel Required Full-Time, Live-Out A distinguished family is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Flight Attendant and Culinary Assistant. This unique role offers the opportunity to provide exceptional service aboard the familys private aircraft, while also supporting meal services and event coordination at their residence. The ideal candidate will be a warm, detail-oriented, and creative professional with a passion for elevating the guest experience, both in the air and at home. With a strong foundation as a Flight Attendant and in private service, the individual will help ensure seamless travel experiences, sophisticated meal presentations, and beautiful event setups. Key Responsibilities In-Flight Service and Travel Support Serve as the primary cabin attendant on the familys private aircraft, responsible for all aspects of in-flight service, including food and beverage, bedding, amenities, and overall comfort. Maintain inventory of aircraft wares, coordinating with the familys team to ensure everything is stocked and organized. Work closely with the familys Chef to prepare and present travel meals that reflect the familys preferences and dietary needs. Culinary and Event Support Assist the Chef with meal preparation for both travel and events, ensuring each dish meets the highest standards of presentation and taste. Source specialty items from local bakeries and high-end shops to ensure the freshest ingredients and unique touches. Collaborate with the household team on the daily assessment of food and beverage stock in family kitchens. Design and set tablescapes for family meals, creating a visually appealing and elevated dining experience. Serve family meals as needed, paying attention to detail and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Assist with event planning and execution, from food prep to service, ensuring every aspect aligns with the familys standards of excellence. Qualifications Experienced private Flight Attendant. 3-5 years of experience in a high-touch, UHNW private household or a luxury hospitality environment. You are a Swiss Army Knife with a broad skill set in hospitality, administration, culinary, etc. Culinary Aptitude: Hands-on experience with food preparation, confidence in light cooking, and a passion for culinary excellence. Warm, professional, and discreet with a focus on providing a personalized and elevated service for the family and their guests. Able to adapt to changing schedules, including weekend availability, last-minute travel, and extended hours during events or special requests. Travel-Ready: must be comfortable traveling and working in varying locations, ensuring top-tier service is provided consistently. Schedule The workweek will vary according to the familys flight schedule and the households needs. Flexibility is essential, with hours adjusting to accommodate travel schedules, last-minute trips, and special events. The household operates seven days a week, including holidays, so the ability to maintain a responsive, adaptable schedule is crucial. Compensation Base compensation range of $120,000 to $160,000 commensurate with experience. A comprehensive benefits package is included (medical/dental/vision/life insurance, 401(k) with match, PTO, paid holidays, annual discretionary bonus).
