Compensation: * $60,000 – $80,000 annually (commensurate with experience)*

A global leader in advanced technology manufacturing is seeking motivated individuals to join their team in Binghamton, NY. This role offers multiple entry points based on experience and career goals — it can be filled as a Marketing Trainee, Product Specialist, Assistant Product Manager, or Product Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of assigned product families and become the go-to expert on markets, applications, customers, competitors, costs, and margins.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive product strategy, identify growth opportunities, and manage new product introductions.
• Support sales efforts by developing strong customer relationships and providing training/resources to sales and distribution teams.
• Lead pricing analysis and profitability strategies, ensuring revenue and margin goals are achieved.
• Partner with marketing teams to design and implement promotional campaigns (digital, print, and multimedia).
• Regularly visit key customers and participate in promotional activities.
• Monitor and track performance data, cost reductions, and pricing effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, engineering, or related field (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• Strong organizational skills and self-motivation.
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to promote products effectively and work cross-functionally.
• Willingness to travel occasionally (air and car).
• U.S. work authorization required (due to export control regulations).
