Syracuse Jewish Family Services at Menorah Park of CNY is seeking a LCSW-R to join our team.
Job Summary
In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and social work services to diverse population including adults and seniors. Your expertise will support individuals facing a range of challenges such as developmental disabilities, trauma, addiction, and mental health disorders. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality patient care through clinical assessments, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management, all while adhering to HIPAA regulations and maintaining accurate medical documentation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in clients’ lives while working within a collaborative and supportive environment.
Duties
Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) support their clients with everyday problems related to mental health, behavioral issues and emotional problems. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker job description includes specific duties and responsibilities for the role, including:
· Evaluating clients to determine their needs and the support options that can help them
· Creating individualized care plans for each client
· Referring clients to community resources to help their specific situations
