As a Software Development Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade applications using Java-based technologies and modern cloud platforms. This role involves working on complex backend systems, optimizing database performance, and contributing to scalable, secure, and high-performance software solutions that support critical business operations.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Designing and developing scalable, multithreaded enterprise applications and APIs
• Building and maintaining backend services using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture
• Optimizing Oracle SQL performance and designing efficient database schemas
• Developing PL/SQL procedures, functions, and triggers for database operations
• Creating front-end components using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern frameworks
• Managing and defining database structures in Oracle and BigQuery environments
• Participating in code reviews, design discussions, and software architecture planning
• Writing and maintaining unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability
• Deploying and managing applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud (GCP)
• Working with messaging systems including Kafka and ActiveMQ for real-time data processing
• Collaborating in Agile/Scrum teams and following DevOps best practices including CI/CD pipelines

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• 5–7 years of experience in enterprise Java development
• Strong expertise in Spring Boot, Spring Data, and microservices architecture
• Advanced knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL tuning, and PL/SQL programming
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks including Angular, HTML5, and CSS
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as Redis
• Knowledge of cloud platforms including AWS and Google Cloud (GCP)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile development methodologies
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts and tools such as TensorFlow, Scikit-Learn, and Vertex AI is a plus
• Python and shell scripting experience is desirable
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in collaborative team environments
