Overview

Role Summary

The need here is for a freelance, as needed, Senior Designer. As a Freelance Senior Designer you are expert in determining initial design strategy to final sign-off, you are involved in all phases of design development with a strong focus on execution. You are often working on several projects at a time under the direction of a design lead. Your specialty: Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch, you mastered it. You have strong leadership skills and train and mentor designers.

Additionally, since you are in the freelance lane you are used to tight deadlines, quick turn-arounds and staying up to date and timely on all deliverables.

Typical years of experience : 5+ years of experience.

This role has the possibility to transition to full time.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Works under the direction of a design lead to contribute to, and create, design concepts including all aspects of design systems.

• Leverages a strong understanding of technology and user experience.

• Experienced in mobile app design, and familiar with Google Material Design and Apple's Human Interface Guidelines.

• Responsible for asset creation, production, photo retouching and enhancements.

• Implements website accessibility standards.???????

• Actively participates in brainstorms and other idea-generating team sessions.

• Partners with team members to ensure projects meet objectives.

• Assists creative lead in research and presentation materials.

• Presents work to internal teams.

• Participates in new business initiatives.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in design, fine arts, or related field.

Previous Experience

• Exceptional portfolio that includes strong system design thinking.

• Experience Working with service and e-commerce design.

• Expert design and layout applications (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud, Figma, Sketch).

• Good understanding of motion design and prototyping.

Compensation Range: $40 - $75hourly. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
