Porter Supervisor

Markette is is seeking a dedicated and experienced Porter Supervisor to join our team. • Previous experience supervising teams in hospitality, facilities, housekeeping, or a related field preferred
• Ability to effectively manage and motivate a team of 6–7 porters
• Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to maintain and enforce cleanliness standards and schedules
• Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Commitment to professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or move up to 50 pounds
• Flexibility to work a schedule of 40–45 hours per week, including weekends and holidays as needed

• Supervise and support a team of 6–7 porters across daily operations
• Lead by example and maintain a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Oversee and maintain all porter cleaning schedules to ensure completion of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks
• Ensure porter stations, storage areas, and workspaces remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain company cleanliness and operational standards
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training new porter team members
• Provide ongoing coaching, performance feedback, and support to the porter team
• Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and excellence
• Communicate staffing needs and operational updates with management
• Ensure all safety procedures and company policies are followed consistently
