Job Description

The role of a Senior Technical Program / Project Manager is a key leadership position responsible for managing the strategic planning, operations, and delivery of streaming media services to customers. The Senior Director of Technical Program Management in Streaming Media plays a critical role in driving the growth and success of the media ecosystem responsible for CBS monetization of content. This position requires a combination of strategic thinking, operational management, and strong leadership skills to ensure that the company is delivering high-quality streaming media services that meet customer needs and expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic plans that align with the overall goals of the company.

  • Analyze market trends and identify new opportunities for growth of streaming FAST channels

  • Create strategic plans to drive operational efficiencies and ongoing analysis of infrastructure costs (costs/benefits)

  • Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure that the services provided meet customer needs and expectations.

  • Monitor the performance of the streaming services and address any issues that arise promptly.

  • Ensure that the streaming media services provided are of high quality, reliable, and meet industry standards.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, vendors, and industry partners.

  • Identify opportunities for collaboration and build strong relationships to drive growth.

  • Lead and inspire teams, providing guidance and direction to drive major cross business units/ national /international projects

  • Develop opportunities for operational excellence by addressing key intake workflows, and standardizing SDLC tools and processes for enhanced visibility /reporting

  • Responsible for working with SVP to articulate Product and Technical roadmaps for media ecosystem

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies, tools, and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to achieve business goals.

  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the performance of operations and progress towards achieving business goals.

Skills and Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, media, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior leadership role in the streaming media industry.

  • Experience with Streaming Media Architecture and Cloud infrastructure.

  • Proven track record of developing and implementing successful business strategies.

  • Experience managing budgets and financial resources.

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience leading large teams.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • In-depth knowledge of the streaming media industry and its trends.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
