Assistant General Manager
Confidential Fine Dining Restaurant | New York City
We are seeking an experienced, hospitality-driven Assistant General Manager to join the leadership team of an established, nationally recognized fine dining restaurant in New York City.
This is an opportunity to join a restaurant that is committed to exceptional hospitality, operational excellence, and the highest standards of service. We are looking for a leader who thrives on the dining room floor, leads by example, and is passionate about developing both people and systems.
The Assistant General Manager is a hands-on leadership position responsible for supporting all aspects of front-of-house operations while working closely with the General Manager, Executive Chef, and ownership. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the restaurant's culture, service standards, and operational consistency.
This is not a purely administrative management position. We are seeking an active floor leader who excels in hospitality, accountability, communication, and team development. We value individuals who lead with humility, inspire their teams through action, and are committed to creating exceptional guest experiences every day.
Growth OpportunityThis position is intentionally designed as a leadership development role with a clear path to becoming a General Manager .
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, gaining exposure to all aspects of restaurant operations—including financial management, staffing, budgeting, recruiting, strategic planning, and overall business performance.
