Position Title: Emergency Room - Technician

Location: Flushing, NY

Duration: 9-Week (contract)

Shift: Days (8.25 × 5)

Hourly Pay: $24–$26/hr

Weekly Pay: $900–$1,000/week

Position Overview:

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Emergency Room - Technician for an exciting Travel or Local job in Flushing, NY.

Responsibilities:

• Perform basic patient care tasks, including assistance with activities of daily living.

• Obtain and document accurate vital signs.

• Perform phlebotomy procedures and collect blood specimens.

• Conduct EKGs and assist with telemetry monitoring for arrhythmia surveillance.

• Complete glucose monitoring via finger-stick testing.

• Support nursing staff with patient transport, positioning, and overall workflow.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment.

• Communicate patient concerns or status changes promptly to nursing staff.

• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and infection prevention protocols.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Emergency Department (ED) Technician – Required

• Phlebotomy experience – Required

• EKG/Arrhythmia certificate – Required

• Experience performing and interpreting EKGs

• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring

• Ability to perform glucose finger-stick testing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical Technician certificate

• Nursing Attendant certification

• At least 1 year of experience as an EKG Technician, Nursing Attendant, or similar clinical role
