Saint James Libations is looking for a talented, driven Line Cook to join our small, tight-knit
kitchen team.

This is an opportunity to work alongside an award-winning Chef and a team of professionals who care deeply about their craft.

Our menu showcases contemporary Afro-diasporic cuisine through thoughtful, ingredient-driven small plates, where technique, consistency and attention to detail matter.

This role is for someone who moves with intention and precision, and who understands how to

You will be responsible for running your station during service, maintaining quality and timing, and contributing to a kitchen environment that is calm, organized, and collaborative.

Our menu is concise and detail-driven, requiring a strong sense of awareness and discipline. You
will be responsible for executing dishes to standard, maintaining your mise en place, and
supporting the overall flow of service.

You will work closely with the Prep Cook, communicating needs clearly and consistently, and
supporting systems around pars, product usage, and ordering. You will assist in managing
inventory flow, minimizing waste, and ensuring all ingredients are handled and utilized with
care.

Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety is essential. You are
expected to respect shared spaces, uphold systems, and leave the kitchen better than you found
it.

Candidates must have at least two years of prior line cook experience, along with a valid Food
Handler’s Certification. Availability must be Wednesday through Thursday from 2:00
PM to 11:00 PM, and Friday through Sunday from 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM.

This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, lift 50lbs and carry deliveries, and
work comfortably in a small, fast-paced kitchen environment.
Compensation is $26–$28 per hour, based on experience and alignment with the role.
There is opportunity to grow with the program as the kitchen and menu continue to evolve.
