Corning Credit Union is seeking a Loan Servicing Representative to join our team in the Lending Contact Center.

Role Summary: As a Loan Servicing Representative, within our Lending Contact Center, you will provide exceptional service, support, and education while assisting with servicing needs for their existing consumer and solar loans.
Essential Job Duties
- Assists members with loan related questions, payoff requests, and subordinations over the telephone or online
- Maintains comprehensive knowledge of consumer and solar loan product types, including an understanding of solar partners and processes
- Completes due date modifications and assists with modification audits
- Builds member relationships by effectively educating members about all appropriate CCU products and services
- Completes various financial transactions, including Payment Center
- Effectively troubleshoots and resolve member questions in regards to their existing loans
- Effectively manages communications between multiple parties - mortgage companies, titling companies, dealerships
- Also assumes responsibility for other projects or duties as required or assigned

- Highly flexible and able to grasp and disseminate large amounts of information in a fast-paced lending environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills

- Confidence in recommending products and services with the ability to meet appropriate sales and service goals
Education Requirements
- An associate degree or other form of secondary education is preferred; commensurate work experience also considered
- A high school diploma or GED is required
Experience Requirements
- Prior call center experience is desired but not required
Communication Skills Required
- The ability to read and comprehend moderate to advanced instructions and correspondence
- The ability to write moderate to advanced correspondence within professional etiquette standards
- The ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small-group situations
- The ability to effectively communicate loan decisions and navigate sensitive situations

- Ability to work in a repetitive motion for a lengthy period of time
- Ability to work within a fast-paced lending call center environment
- Regular use of computer is required
- Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision and the ability to adjust focus from close range to long range
Compensation - The starting Loan Servicing Representative base pay range is $19.50 - $24.50 per hour. Hiring rates are dependent on several factors, including years of related work experience, education, and geographic location. Corning Credit Union also offers an annual bonus plan as part of its comprehensive compensation package. Additionally, most roles have further levels providing added growth opportunities and earnings potential.
