Executive General Adjuster
- Investigate and evaluate insurance claims to determine coverage, liability, and extent of damages
- Review insurance policies, claim documentation, and supporting records to assess claim validity and exposure
- Conduct interviews with insureds, claimants, witnesses, contractors, and other involved parties
- Inspect damaged property and evaluate repair, replacement, and remediation costs
- Coordinate with engineers, consultants, attorneys, contractors, and other experts as needed
- Prepare detailed reports documenting findings, recommendations, and claim resolutions
- Negotiate settlements within established authority and recommend further action when necessary
- Maintain accurate reserves and monitor claim financials throughout the life of the file
- Participate in mediations, hearings, appraisals, and litigation support activities when applicable
- Ensure compliance with client guidelines, carrier requirements, and industry regulations
- Provide responsive communication and superior customer service to clients, insureds, and business partners
- Travel as required to inspect losses and support catastrophe response efforts
- Support special projects and operational initiatives as assigned.
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, policy forms, and claims practices.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent industry experience.
- Appropriate state adjusting licenses as required
- Minimum of five (5) years of property and casualty claims adjusting experience, including handling complex or large-loss claims.
- Experience with commercial, residential, and catastrophe claims preferred.
- Strong analytical, investigative, and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims management systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Sound judgment and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work in both office and field environments
- Ability to travel to inspect properties in a variety of environmental and weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and lift as necessary to perform field inspections.
