Front Desk/Intake Specialist

The front desk/Intake Specialist is responsible for the reception of all people who enter the building in a professional and confidential manner. This high volume practice requires a detail-oriented person to obtain relevant patient information and apply it to various medical applications for the purpose of maintaining proper records

Requirements:

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Needs to be skilled in identifying/investigating problems and arriving at solutions. Skill in computer applications is necessary. Must possess the ability to maintain effective working relationship and strong communication skills with patients, staff and the public. Ability to establish priorities, ability to multitask, work independently with excellent interpersonal & organizational skills and carry out objectives without constant supervision. Needs to be knowledgeable in the office systems and practice policies with an in depth working knowledge of insurance. Must have flexibility in schedule and travel to different local sites.

High School Diploma

One year in a customer service and/or reception position in a fast paced environment.
