Mechanical Quality Inspector

Large aerospace manufacturer of structural landing gear components and airframe machined parts is hiring for a Mechanical Quality Inspector to join their team! Responsibilities

• Inspect and verify the quality of incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges, or micrometers to measure product dimensions.
• Maintain detailed records of defects and inspection/test data.
• Familiar with First Article Inspection a plus
• Accept or reject finished items based on conformity to specifications.
• Remove non-conforming products and materials from the production line.
• Read and interpret blueprints and specifications to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Evaluate internal processes to ensure compliance with quality requirements, including AS9100, ISO 9001, and other relevant standards.
• Identify areas of compliance and opportunities for improvement within organizational processes.
• Develop and present comprehensive audit reports to management.
• Collaborate with various departments to address non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
