Experienced Analyst, Private Capital Markets

Financial Technology Partners
New York, NY

Job Title: Experienced Analyst, Private Capital Markets

Location: New York, NY

Company: FT Partners

Company Overview

Financial Technology Partners (FT Partners) is one of the most successful boutique investment banks on Wall Street, headquartered in San Francisco with additional offices in New York and London. Dedicated exclusively to the financial technology sector, FT Partners offers a full suite of advisory services — including M&A advisory, private capital raising, and capital markets advisory — and has advised on some of the most consequential transactions in the high-growth fintech space.

With 200+ professionals globally, FT Partners is led by senior bankers formerly of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Evercore, and Barclays. The firm has been recognized with the "Dealmaker of the Year" and "Investment Banking Firm of the Year" awards by The M&A Advisor, and is known for its collegial, energetic culture where every team member is expected to meaningfully contribute to the firm's success.

Role Overview

FT Partners is seeking an Experienced Analyst to join our Private Capital Markets (PCM) team. This individual will play a meaningful role in strengthening the firm's relationships across the investor universe and supporting the execution of capital raise and M&A processes. Working side by side with senior bankers in a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment, the Analyst will be instrumental in building the tools, datasets, and marketing materials that power our client solutions and expand our investor network.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven finance professional looking to deepen their expertise in private capital markets at one of the most active and well-regarded firms in the fintech sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze market data to enhance investor targeting efforts and support new investor discovery initiatives.
  • Assist in the development of marketing materials and investor communications to strengthen connectivity across the firm's network.
  • Support the build-out of internal infrastructure and robust datasets that enable better, faster solutions for clients.
  • Contribute to the execution of live capital raise and M&A processes, working closely with senior bankers across deal teams.
  • Develop and maintain tools critical to strengthening the firm's investor relationships and improving deal execution.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, or a related capital markets role.
  • Strong academic record; bachelor's degree with a minimum 3.5 GPA from a top-tier institution preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial, with the initiative to identify and act on opportunities without being prompted.
  • High level of integrity and sound professional judgment.
  • Comfortable engaging with investment professionals and navigating institutional investor relationships.
  • Permanent U.S. work authorization required (FT Partners does not sponsor work visas).

What We're Looking For

Communication: You produce clear, polished materials and communicate with confidence — whether preparing investor-facing documents or engaging directly with senior bankers and client executives.

Collaboration: You are a genuine team player who fosters a positive environment, keeps commitments, and works effectively across teams and seniority levels.

Integrity: You uphold the firm's values and maintain the highest ethical standards in every interaction.

Growth Mindset: You are committed to your own development and understand the importance of coaching and building others around you for the long term.

Why FT Partners?

  • Senior leadership formerly of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Evercore, and Barclays.
  • Award-winning execution — recognized as Investment Bank of the Year and Boutique of the Year, among many other accolades.
  • Unparalleled deal flow across both billion-dollar transactions and early-stage, high-growth VC investments.
  • Direct exposure to world-class executives and premier clients in one of the largest and fastest-growing sectors in finance.
  • Competitive compensation with strong career development and a clear path for advancement.
  • A close-knit, rapidly growing team with an inclusive and energetic culture.

Base Salary: $100,000-$120,000 commensurate with experience. Total compensation may include a discretionary performance awards.
