Commissary Cook
Job description:
We’re hiring experienced Event Chefs and Prep Cooks to support event prep in the companies commissary as well as on site at events.Event Chef Description-
Overview:
This role requires 6 month years of high-end catering or production experience, focusing on high-volume, quality food preparation. Recent Culinary School Education will be accepted in lieu of experience.
- Requirements: High-end, fine-dining, or large-production catering experience, with butcher experience often considered a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Previous experience in a high-volume kitchen environment, especially in catering or production kitchens.
2. Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures.
3. Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately, with a keen attention to detail.
4. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
6. Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Strongly preferred:
- Banquet, catering, hotel, or institutional kitchen experience
- Food safety certification (ServSafe or similar)
- Experience working at a commissary
- White Chef Coat
- Black Kitchen Pants or Black and White Checkered Chef Pants
- Non slip shoes
- Skully or chef head covering
- Knife Set
