Temper Axle Products Corporation is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join our team. Temper Axle is a well-established and progressive firm with state-of-the-art machinery, and a modern, clean, climate-controlled environment.Job Description:
-Established manufacturing company seeking highly motivated and outgoing individual for a multifaceted position in our Shipping Department handling all small parcel packaging and shipping as well as scheduling LTL & FTL freight. Pay commensurate with experience. Duties will include: -Maintaining order entry database -Maintaining/Organizing shipping area -Inventory tracking- -Filling boxes and other cartons with products to be shipped -Process orders based on the buyers preferred shipping system (e.g. USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.) -Invoice Customers -Contact carriers to schedule pickups for shipments -Prepare and print shipping labels corresponding to shipping needs -Affix proper postage to each package in preparation for shipping -Maintain a clean and safe work area and update supplies as needed -Relaying shipment tracking information to customers -Purchasing of packing and manufacturing supplies as needed -Opportunity for advancementRequirements for the position:
-High school diploma/GED preferred -Reliable transportation is required -Computer knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel required -ERP software knowledge preferred -Data Entry, Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable knowledge preferred -Some HR experience helpful -2+ years' experience in shipping -Excellent organizational and time management skills. Attention to detail a must! -Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with frequently changing dynamics -Capable of working a consistent schedule (8:00am-4:30pm) -Ability to lift 50 lbs.Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 4:30 pm
Pay: From $17.50/hr.
