About the Role:
Join our dynamic team at United Nations Plaza Dental PC as a Dental Assistant, where you'll play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about dentistry and eager to support our skilled professionals in creating beautiful smiles.
Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists during examinations and procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for patient treatments.
- Manage patient records and schedule appointments efficiently.
- Provide excellent patient care and address any patient concerns with empathy.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the dental team to enhance overall patient experience.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; dental assistant certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a dental assistant or in a similar role.
- Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Current CPR certification is a plus.
