Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic

Location: Bronx, NY 10461

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (40 hours per week)

Position Overview

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist – Diagnostic to join a leading healthcare facility in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will assist interventional radiologists with minimally invasive, image-guided procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic imaging outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist interventional radiologists during minimally invasive, image-guided procedures.

• Operate and maintain specialized imaging and angiographic equipment.

• Administer contrast dyes while monitoring for patient safety and allergic reactions.

• Ensure accurate imaging and documentation throughout procedures.

• Support interventional procedures such as balloon angioplasty, stenting, and other vascular interventions .

• Maintain compliance with safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited institution.

• Minimum 1 year of experience with angiographic equipment and interventional procedures.

• Valid NYSDOH Radiologic Technologist License.

• Current AHA BLS certification.

• Advanced ARRT certification in one of the following specialties:

  • ARRT (CI) – Cardiac Interventional Radiography

  • ARRT (CV) – Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography

  • ARRT (VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiography
