CDL A Driver

Neave Group Outdoor Solutions is the fastest-growing landscape and outdoor solutions firm in the region. We are seeking an experienced CDL A Driver to be responsible for loading and delivering landscaping materials and equipment to client locations and operating heavy machinery on-site.

The CDL Driver position is a year-round position, which will include snow removal in the winter. The successful candidate must be reliable, with a Class A Commercial Driver’s License and at least 3 years of experience operating large and small excavators and backhoes.

What you’ll do as the CDL A Driver:

• Operating large excavators, skid steers, and backhoes

• Perform general maintenance of equipment on site

• Perform all inspections of mechanical aspects of the vehicle before and after a trip

• Maintain required safety & job paperwork 

• Follow safety procedures and maintain clean driver’s license

• Deliver landscaping products and equipment to work sites

• Loading and unloading trucks

• Digging pools

• Operate snow equipment post-season

Job Requirement

• NYS Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A only, with a clean record

• 3+ years of experience operating excavators, skid steers, backhoes and other heavy machinery

• Roll off container operations experience a plus

• Experience working for a landscape company and/or knowledge of landscape supplies is desired
