The Grand Rehabilitation & Nursing at Waterview Heights is currently seeking an Activities Aide ***Please, only apply if you have experience in this field*** Position Type: Full-Time Pay Rate: $15.50/hour-$16.50/hour Schedule: 10am-6pm Mon-Friday with rotating weekends The Grand Healthcare is seeking a passionate and dynamic Activities Aide to join our team! Key Responsibilities: * Plan and Facilitate Activities: Design and conduct engaging activities tailored to residents’ individual interests. * Direct Interaction with Residents: Work directly with residents on units, fostering meaningful interactions without direct supervision. * Organize Supplies & Equipment: Procure and prepare necessary supplies and equipment for activities. * Assist Recreation Specialists: Support and assist with program areas and preparations as needed. * Attendance & Participation Documentation: Maintain daily attendance records and document residents’ participation in activities. * Escort Residents: Safely escort residents to and from activity locations, ensuring their safety and comfort.
