Schedule : 35 hours/week

• Monday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch)
• Tuesday and Thursday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (30-min lunch)
• Wednesday and Friday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM (30-min lunch)

About the Role

Our client is seeking a warm, professional, and detail-oriented Medical Office Receptionist to join their private practice team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a patient-facing environment and is comfortable with medical office operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk with a friendly and professional demeanor
• Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the office calendar
• Handle patient payments and maintain accurate records
• Support insurance billing processes and liaise with insurance companies
• Order hearing aids and assist with minor technical support for devices
• Maintain confidentiality and discretion in all patient interactions
• Provide excellent customer service
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the private practice

Qualifications

• Must have prior experience working in a medical office or front desk setting
• Proficient with computers and scheduling systems
• Must have prior experience with insurance billing and patient payment processing
• Strong verbal communication and presentation skills
• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
• Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
• High School Diploma required; college degree is a plus
