GENERAL FUNCTION

The Graphic Designer, Art Production is responsible for the execution of graphic design and art production across all categories and programs—inclusive of in-line and special project brand collaborations. They will receive direction from senior design creatives and provide thoughtful research for creative pitch meetings as well as produce print-ready vector and graphic logos across multiple design categories.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Executes the design process from conception to final mock-up for accessories and its packaging based on creative direction from Chief Creative Officer, Head(s) of Design, and Design Director of Accessories
• Engages in thorough seasonal research and organization for creative meeting pitches
• Produces detailed sketches of design concepts inclusive of color, graphics, with a clear understanding of how the concepts can be actualized into product.
• Constructs accurate tech packs for accessories, updating them throughout the season with any design changes
• Assists with color group development initiatives to ensure cohesive and diverse product offerings.
• Ensures that product is consistent while maintaining the brand identity and organization strategy
• Makes comprehensive and timely comments on all product revisions, and quality
• Effectively and promptly communicates all product comments to the Product Development team
• Develops packaging solutions for a wide range of Accessories product that adheres to global brand standards and specifications.
• Partners with Production and Compliance teams to ensure packaging meets regulatory standards and other requirements, engaging with global teams to address packaging-related legal considerations where necessary
• Maintains seasonal organization of research, sketches, and tech packs
• Works with Brand team to provide mockups and CAD artwork for promotional projects.
• Actively participates in meetings to discuss designs and line development, and present and review line and concepts regularly

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3-5+ years relevant working experience
• Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Ability to interact and communicate well with all levels within organization
• Strong attention to detail
• Proactive/ Self Motivated
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and ability to multitask
