UX Designer/Proto@typer Team Lead

Position Duties: Lead a team of designers within the Employee Productivity area. Create a team vision and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Senior Leaders to produce tangible roadmap. Drive strategic UX department initiatives, define new UX processes, and mentor, inspire, and coach team members. Closely partner with end users and subject matter experts and take ownership of a domain to envision and craft conceptual frameworks, interaction design, and the overall user experience of new products and major enhancements. Utilize advanced analytical skills to translate user needs, business objectives, and technology capabilities into innovative design solutions. Lead all aspects of the design process from customer research using qualitative and quantitative methods, conceptualizing, storyboarding, detailed design and working with engineering teams on implementing designs. Collaborate with business teams to adopt a user centered process and ground design decisions in a detailed understanding of the customers workflow and needs, including conducting workshops with business teams, subject matter experts, and engineering teams. Collaborate with engineers to support the build of products as per design specifications. Research new software or design concepts. Supervise 7 Senior Interaction Designers and 1 Interaction Designer. Job Requirements: Position requires a Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent in Design, Computer Science, Technology, Information Science, or related, and 4 years of experience in the job offered or as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or related. In lieu of a Bachelors degree, the employer will accept 2 additional years of experience in the job offered or as a UX Designer, Product Designer, or related. Must have 2 years of experience in managing and developing team members. Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following skills: Leading all aspects of the interaction design process; Utilizing user-centered design (UCD) principles and common practices; Qualitative and quantitative research methods and usability research/analysis; Conceptualizing, storyboarding, and design implementation; Designing complex user workflows, decision-support systems, framework-level patterns, information architecture, graphic/visual design framework-level patterns; and Conducting workshops and collaborating with senior business and technical leaders to define strategy.
