Scanning Coordinator - Wappinger

Scanning Coordinator: Adams Fairacre Farms has an exciting job opportunity for a Scanning Coordinator, to maintain item databases and systems that drive store level pricing and promotion through our point of sale system. Scanning Coordinator acts as a resource to the store team and provides excellent customer service to internal users.You must be able to work quickly and efficiently, comfortable with operating Windows PC/applications and good written communication expertise. Must have at least two years of data entry practice.

Essential tasks and Responsibilities
The Scanning Coordinator will:

»Enter new products into New Item Tool for entry into POS.

»Follow Requirements set by Database Manager for accurate data entry, with careful attention to sales taxcapability, EBT eligibility and other key attributes.

»Review weekly flyer worksheets generated by corporate before flyer start date.

»Maintain in-store temporary pricing worksheets per department requirements.

»Routine and on-demand reporting as required by store teams.

»Printing labels and signs for store use

»Operate Point of Sale terminals and hand held devices.

»Troubleshoot point of sale and scanning systems with the IT Department

»Train backup provided to serve as alternative during time off.

»Special Projects as assigned by IT Department or Store Manager
